ABOUT

The first annual SAFETEEN film festival will be held Monday May 29, 2018 in the Stockbridge Theatre at Pinkerton Academy in Derry, NH.  This unique festival will feature films made by high school students from around the state that showcase current issues of teen safety.  All genres are welcome.  Send us your short narratives, public service announcements, experimental films, animations, etc.  Awards will be announced after screening this years nominated films in categories of "Best Suicide Prevention Project", "Best Substance Abuse Prevention Project", "Best Fire Safety Project", "Best Work Place Safety Project", "Best Road/Driving Safety Project", "Best Anti-Bullying Project", "Best Non Traditional Career Project", and of Course a "Best in Show Award".  Awards will also be given to NH high school students recognized for contributions to teen safety around the state.  If you know someone that has gone above and beyond to keep New Hampshire teens safe; started a campaign to raise money for teen homelessness, started a club to promote safe teen practices, went to Concord to speak out about teen substance abuse, then shoot a short testimonial about this teen and let us know.  the Nominees will be chosen by a panel of judges in any or all of the categories listed above and announced in April.  Winners will be announced and awarded at the event.  Good Luck!  Have Fun!  Impress us with your talent, creativity, and concern for the safety of your fellow teens!
